A MAYOR ARRESTED,
Received February 8, 8.30 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, February 7. The Government has ordered the arrest of a Mayor ac Odessa, for allowing the municipality to feed workmen during a strike. A store of bombs in a house at Odessa expploded. Two people were killed and eight wounded. FINLAND. WARLIKE PREPARATIONS. Received February 8, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, February 7. • Prench advices received from St. Petersburg state that Finland is constantly receiving quiokfirers and ammunitiou, and the population is undergoing military training. MORE FRESH DISTURBANCES" AT VLADIVOSTOCK. Received February 8, 8.40 a.m. TOKIO, February^. The Russian cruiser Castroma, bound from Odessa to Vladivostok with provisions, has been detained at Nagasaki because fresh disturbances have occurred at Vladivostok.
