The export of frozen mutton and lamb from Australia last month totalled 125,000 and 225,000 carcases respectively. For the four months October- January the shipments amounted to 390,000 shaep and 1,015,000 lambs, the',quantity for the oorrenpondinp; months of last season being 257,000 sheep and 572,000 lambs, A considerable quantity of lambs still await shipment from Australia, and supplies to the Sydney and Melbourne markets continue large.
