At the Supreme Court Robert Fulton pleaded guilty to a charge of forging a cheque for £7O, and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Frank Edwards, alias flicks, on a charge of wronglv detaining postal packages, stealing- a horse, and forgery, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment ou the first charge, and three years each on the second and third charges, sentences to bo concurrent. Norman Henry Allison, on a charge of theft at Waihi, was sentenced to 18 months, imprisonment.. WELLINGTON, February 6. At the Supreme Court, Talbut was convicted of indecent assault, and was remanded for sentence. In the case of Charles Philp, charged with »>■ '* . mioiving, the Jury failed to agree.
