WELLINGTON, February 6. Hon. R. J. Seddon says that the judgment given by the Magistrate, to-day, as regards the closing of tobacconists, will be considered by the Crown law officers. (The case, whioh was brought under Section 21, of the Shops and Offices Act, 1904. was one in which the Inspector o f Factories, in Welington, proceeded against one Ross, a tobacconist, for failing to close his shop at 8 p.m., on January 4th. The case was dismissed, the Magistrate allowing defendant £2 2s costs).
