RACING.
TARANAKIJOCKEY OLUR. AUTUMN MEETING. The Taranaki Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting will be neld on Thursday and F»iday, the 29th and 30th Match next, for which a very attractive programme has been prepared. The stakes for the two days' races total the substantial sum of 1,660 80V8, including tho Cup Handicap of 300 o-nva, Autumu Handicap of 200 sova. Stewards' Handicap of 120 sovs, and the Grandstand Handicap of 110 sovs. Of the other twelve events three are allotted 100 sovn each, four pt 75 sovs, one at 60 sovs, aud tbo remaining threo 50 sovs. Tho Stewards are to be complimented on iruviding such an attractive programme, and owners will anoreciate tho efforts of the club ir this respect, wbilo the public can rest assured that they will be able to witness some good racing. Entries for all events except the Trial Plate and Final Hack Mutter, will clone with the secretary, Mr Mussell Fleetwood, New Plymouth, on Monday. February 26th, at \) p.m.
