♦ RACING. TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 3. The Takapuna Jookey Club's Summer Meeting was concluded to-day. The weather was dull and showery, but there was a good attendance. The sum of £8,785 was put through the totaiisator during the day, making £25,050 10s for the meeting. One thousand three hundred and seventy-nine pounds was invested on the double event machine worked in connection with the Borough and Hummer Handicaps. A dividend of £3319s was paid on the winning combination, Takaro and Gladstone, winners of the Borough and Summer Handicaps, respectively.
