GERMAN SHIP.
SEIZED BY CUSTOMS OFFICIALS. WHOLESALE SMUGGLING. Received February 4, 4.17 p.m. NEW YORK, February 3. The Customs Inspector at Galveston seized the German training ship Grosser Herzogin Elizabeth for smuggling and selling to tavernkeepers quantities of wines and liquors. The ship's officers have been the guests of the Customs officials.
