COLONIAL BUTTER.
HEAVY COSTS. Received February 2, 9.2 a.m
LONDON, February 1.
In the case brought against Coopman and Young, of Smithfield, wio were fined £2O on one count and 20s on another of adulterating colonial butter, the Magistrate has decided the reserved question of costs, fixing these at £250, as the .Lancashire County Council had incurred seri-' ous expense in traoing the adulter-, ated butter.
