DUNEDIN, January 30. Andrew William Synie, who pleaded guilty in the Lower Court, to two obargeß of theft, was sen tenoed by Mr Justice Chapman, to four months' imprisonment on eaoh chnige, the. sentences to be concurrent. frank Heme, on three charges of breaking and entering and tbeft.iwas sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment, sentences to oe concurrent. t la re Thomas M'Dermid, wbo has been sentenced on a oharge of breaking and entering, it was reported that the prisoner bad been oommiited.. to the Seacliff Mental Hospital, and the matter was ordered to stand oyer till the prisoner is' able ( to be brought before the Court.
