Thb following team will represent the Star C in their matoh with Oarterton Juniors, on Thursday next, at Cartertonßowen, Baker, Jackson, MoLean, Saiith, Turvey, Taylor, Wagland, Toung, Hutch, and another. The drag will leave the Club Hotel corner at 1.30 sharp. Any of the above players unable to go to Carterton are requested to inform the Secretary by Wednesday morning.
The following team will represent the Star Bin the match with the Carlton 0, on the School-grounds, on Thursday next:—Steward, Dyke, Laurence, Hooper, Trusoott, Beale, Evans, Rautu, Staples and Green.
NEW SOUTH WALES v. VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received January 29, 10.19 p.fii. SYDNEY, January 29. New South Wales, in their second innings, made 394 runs (Waddy 82, Noble 123, Cotter 30 and Garnsey 25). Noble played a splendid and ohanceless innings. Victoria, in their second innings, have three wickets down for 202 (Ellis 46, Warner 53, MoAliater not out 92). (New South Wales' first innings produced 263 runs, and Viotoria in their first attempt sodred 215 runs).
