AN ANARCHIST PLOT TO KILL TWO GOVERNORS. NEW YORK, January 25. The police, in investigating the circumstances connected with the murder of an Italian near Pittsburg, discovered documents proving the existence of an Anarchist plot to kill the Governors, of Pennsylvania and Ohio. PROPOSED NEW STATES. Reoeived January 26, 9.37 p.m. WASHINGTON, January 26. The House of Representatives, by 194 votes to 150 votes, has adopted a Bill admitting Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma, as two new States. (Arizona has an area of 113,020 square miles, New Mexico 122,580 square miles and Oklahoma 2,950 sauare miles. The soil of the United States, not included within the boundaries of an individual State, is divided into five "territories" Alaska, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona and Indian Territory. Three of these have local Legislatures, [but they are' more directly under Federal control, and the ; Governor in eaoh case is appointed by the President. Alaska and Indian Territory have no self-government. A Bill for admission of Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma as States passed the House in 1902, and again in 1904).
