* The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., advertise additional entries for their Masterton stock sale. A man, supposed to be the muchsought Wanganui burglar, is re-, ported to have paid a visit to a Manutahi farm a day or so ago. He said he was "working his way to Wellington," and was given boots, a meal, and a bed. Next morning tbey went to rouse him to start him at some work, but found that be had got up first and was off, and they concluded that he was still "working bis way to Wellington," says the Hawera Star.
