MAORI GIRLS AS NURSES.
OHRIBTUHURCe, January 24. A special committee reported to the Hospital Board, to-day, that the question of traiuiug Maori girls to become nurses had beeu considered, but the committee could not see its way to recommend the adoption of the bJduoatiou Department's proposal, owing to want of accommodation, wbioh was too limited for the present nursing staff.
