"FAKING."
OF COLONIAL BU'ITER. SATISFACTORY PEOSEOUITONS. Received January 26, 1.4 a.m. LONDON, January 25. Coopman and Young, of Smithfield, on a charge of adulterating colonial butter, were fined £2O oh one count and 20a on another. The prosecution did not proceed with a case in respect of a box of Queensland butter. The agents are considering the advisability of instituting a special prosecution respecting it.
