/ Charles Nuttall, who recently left Melbourne for America, has established himself &in a New York studio, and has received a number of commissions from leading American journals. In the current issue of Dr Fitchett's "Life" for January, Mr Nuttall writes a chatty artiole, giving various glimpses of life in IJewjYork, illustrated with a number df clever drawings, the result of sketches in the Bowery aud the Ghetto. In the same number, an Australian who knows what to write aud how to write, gives the first of three articles on tho colonisation of Fiji. Dr Fitohett contributes a characteristic artiole on "The Most Imperial Sight in England," aud under the title describes a Sunday morning service in the Chapel at Eton, and interesting facts and comments in connection with that historic institution.
