(From Oar Own Correspondent). EK ETA HUN A, Jan. 24. After Mr Jamas, S.M., had decided to reserve judgment iu the horse case, B. Berg v. J. Smith, on Tuesday afternooo, Mr Pago, for plaintiff, raised the question rs to who was to hare custody of the animal in the meantime. The Magistrate then altered his first decision and pave judgment for plaintiff for £6 damages, and ordered the horse to be delivered to Berg the following morning, the defendant to pay all costs. A special meeting of the Chamber of Commerce' was held last evening to discuss ways and means of entertaining the Premier on his v'sit ou Thursday. Ultimately an arrangement was made with Mr UoEtg's Social Committee to combine and provide a luncheon in the afternoon, the local bodies to be represented at same. Mr A. Career to day took over the Railway Hotel from Mr T. Sowman.
