BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
WELLINGTON, Jan, 21. Mr A. Miohie, Manager or the Bank of New Zealand, at Dunedin, arrived in Wellington yesterday, and will act as General Manager of the Bank in place of Mr A. Macintosh, who has been granted leave of absence until March next. Mr Thomas, Inspector for the South Island, will act for Mr Michie in Dunedin, while that gentleman is stationed at the headquarters. The period of Mr Macintosh's engagement with the Bank will expire in June next, and the Post states that he has asked the Directors to relieve him of the office at the end of the financial year. Mr Macintosh will, it is believed, snortly return to Australia.
