The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co. advertise entries for their next Masterton stook sale, to be held on January 31st. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., advertise additional entries to their Masterton stock sale.
Oat crops in the, North Canterbury district are somewhat light, this season, with an average of from 25 to 30 bushels per acre. Some of the wheat crops promise to yield 40 bushels per acre.
