MASTERTON BAND.

* TO-NIGHT'S SPORTS. The sports to be held under the auspices of the Master ton Municipal Band in the Park to-night should prove a great attraction. Splendid entries have been received for ail events, and What with wire-walking by Mr Groom bridge, Volunteer exhibition, graphapbone, and other items, a really interesting programme has been arranged. Dancing on the green, to music by the Band, is an item that shoud attract a large attendance in itself. The evening's entertainment will commence at 6 o'clock sharp. The following is a list of the entries for the oyolmg and running events:— Half-Miie Bicycle Handicap -—J. Facloner scr, F. Boyle und W. Bignell syds, F. Kilminster 20yds, G. Groom bridge 60yds. One Mile Bicycle Handicap.-—Fal-coner scr, Boyle and Bignell 10yds, Kilminster 40yds, Groombridge 120 yds. 220 Yards Amateur—A. E. Wilton, J. Ooradine, J. Bradbnry, W. Ban nister, A. O. Wiliams, G. W. Sellar, A. 0. Paul, 0. Chapman, W. Muir. Any amateur whose name does not appear above is requested to hand in bis nominaton to Mr A. E. Wilton. 100 Yards Open.—First Heat: V. Richards scr, V. O'Neill 2yds, W. Hatch syds, Wilson 6yds, A. Dawes, By-ds, B. Whitt and L. Attwood 10yds. Second Heat: N. MoEwen lyd, Buchanan 3yds, A. La Roche and P. Holmes 6yds, J. Orr 9yds, Boyle 10yds.
