The Masterton portion of the Outward mail is made up on Wednesday Afternoon prior to the Wellington Bailing date, and a supplementary mail is despatched, closing at 5.30 a.m. on Thursday following, connecting with the steamer at New Plymouth. The Inward rmil is due at Masterton by the 1,0.0 p m. on the same as at Wellington. MASTEBTON TELEGRAPH HOURS. The office hours for telegraph work, at Masterton, are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and from 1 p.m'. l! to; midnight daily (Saturday' excepted). Sundays from 5 to 5.30 p.m. Holidays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight: Telephone Exchange is open from 8 a.m. to midnight daily (Sundays excepted).
