THE NORTHERN TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Januaiy 10. The Bowling Tournament was continued to-day. The following table shows the number of wins and losses scored by each Club to the end of the ninth round: Seotion A. Tborndon, 5 wins and 3 losses; Hastings, 6 and 2; Karori, 0 and 8; Gisborne, 5 and 3; Napier 2, and 6; flawera, land 4; Southland, Sand 1; Carterton, 4 and 4; Rookynook 4 and 4; Auckland, 4 and 4; Waverley, 3 and 6. Section B.—Feilding, 3 and 6: Braohe Oak, 1 and 8; Carlton, 7 and 2; Kelburne 3 and 6; Wanganui, 3 and 6; Dunediu, 6 and 3; Ponsonby, 3 and 6; Palmerston, 6 and 3; Victoria, 8 and 1; Petone, 5 and 4. Section C—New Plymouth, 6 and 3; Greenmeadows, 6 and 3; Newtown, 7 and 2; Stratford, S and 4; Wellington, 7 and 2; Pahiatua, 2 and 7; Hutt, 3 and 6; Pemuera, 4 and 5; Masterton, 1 and 8; Patea, 3 and 6. The winner of Section B has turned up in the Victoria Club. In Section C Wellington and Newtown have tied. They n-ill play oft in the morning. The winner of Section A will not be discovered until the last two rounds are played to-morrow, though Southland has a commanding lead.
