TRADE WITH CANADA.
THE NEW LINE. WELLINGTON, Jan. 9. The Government has been advised that the first steamer of the JBuoknell line to trade between Canada and New Zealand will leave Vancouver this month. The Canadian Government will give a subsidy of £IO,OOO per annum for three years and the New Zealand Government £.10,000 for one year, with the right of renewal if the service is satisfactory.
