EGG-LAYING.
THE UTLIITY CLUB'S COMPETITION. CHRISTCHUKOH, Jan. 8. The statement for tfce thirty-sixth week of tae New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln College shows that 618 eggs were laid during the week, matting a total to date of 23,551. The following are the best totals for the week:—J. Tindall's Silver Wyandottea 25, A. Tryee's Black Orpingtons 25, J. W. Holliday's Minorcaa. 24. The best totals to date are:— H. Hawke's Silver Wyandottes 948, J. Mann's White Wyandottes 838, J. H. Shaw's Brown Leghorns 791.
