St. JOHN'S LADIES' GUILD

A pleasant afternoon was spent at St. John's Schoolroom on Thursday, 21st May, which gave the new secretary, Mrs. Chapman, an opportunity to meet the members and those interested in the work of the guild. Musical items, given by Mrs. E. M. Fortune and Miss Prouse, and a humorous recitation by Miss Ruth Neligan, were much appreciated. A bring and buy stall did good business during the afternoon. Weekly meetings will be held on Thursdays at Mrs. Chapman's residence, Merton Road, Trentham, to prepare for the annual bazaar.
