DRYBREAD RACES,
(From a Correspondent.)
These races took place on Thursday and Friday 28th and 29fch January. The weather was fine and the course was in excellent condition. Each race was well contested, indeed nearly all the events •were neck and neck contests. During the first day there was a large concourse of people from St. Bathans, Welshmans, Blacks, Alexandra, and Clyde. There ■were many ladies on the course, aud the only desideratum was a ladies room. The stewards did all in their power to render the meeting a success, Jand their efforts were not unavailing, as everything passed off pleasently. Appended we give the .results ; — Fibst Day.
