Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 10s. ; weight for age ; distance, one mile and a half. MINERS' PURSE, a handicap of 12 soys. Open to all horses within a radius of ten miles of Havelock. Nomination, 109. ; acceptance, 155. ; distance, 1 mile heats. • DISTRICT HANDICAP, of 10 soys. For horses within a radius of five miles of Havelock. All horses to be the bonafide property of owner for two months prior to race. Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 10s. j distance, one mile and a quarter. SECOND DAY (Monday, Deoembee 28). HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, of 10 soys., over 10 flight of hurdles 3ft. 6in. high. Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 10s. Distance, two miles. HAVELOCK TOWN PLATE, a handicap of 15 soys., with a sweep of one soy, second horse to receive the sweep. Nomination, 155. ; acceptance, 155. ; distance, one mile and a half. PUBLICANS' PURSE, a handicap of 10 soys. For horses within a radius of five miles of Havelock, and bonafide property of owner for two months previous to race. Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 10s. ; distance, one mile heats. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, for all beaten horses. First Prize, Saddle and Bridle, value, £10 10s. Entrance, 155. ; distance, one mile. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No person allowed to enter a horse unless a subscriber of one guinea to the funds. Nominations for above races must be sent to the Secretary, at Havelock, with qualification money enclosed, on or before Monday, 21st December, at 9 p.m. Weights to be declared on Thursday, 24th, at 10 a.m., and final acceptance on morning of races for first day's racing ; weights for second day's racing to be declared on morning of races, before 10 a.m. Any horses wrongly described will be disqualified. Any person entering a protest must deposit the sum of one guinea with stewards within fifteen minutes after competition ; same to be forfeited if decision he given against the protest. No person will be allowed to enter a horse in the qualification of another person. Three entries, or no race. The decision of tho Stewards in all cases to be final. HORATIO GILCHRIST, Secretary.
