■London, December 8. Tfye produce telegram of the New Zealand Company, dated London, December Bth, says: — " Wool sales closed flatly ; nearly all descriptions declined from lid to 2d. The sales comprised 85,000 bales. 2000 were taken for export, and 400 withdrawn. During the past sales, a good many second 'band parcels Were offered. Theprospects of the next sales are not so good. Tallow : Public sales Australian comprised 400 casks. Mutton, ' £44 j beef, £33. Leather: Best sides fetched a farthing advance on previous ratesj; others unchanged. Wheat reported quiet."
