CORPORATION OF LAWRENCE. NOTICE, [TIHE Assessment for the year 1874-5, having •*- been accepted by the Council, is now open for inspection at the office of L. C. HOLMES, Town Clerk, Lawrence, 26th October. TOWN OF LAWRENCE. CORPORATION DEBENTURES FOR SALE BY TENDER, mENDERS will be received at the Council •** Chambers, Lawrence, on or before the 9th NOVEMBER, 1874, for the whole or any portion of £3,000 (three thousand pounds) value of Corporation Bonds. The Bonds are isauablo under the authority and provisions of tho " Otago Municipal Corporation Ordinances, 18G5 ;" bear interest at the rate of six per centum per annum, payable half-yearly, at tho option of any purchaser either in London, Melbourne, Dunedin, or Lawrence ; and are secured on the Town Rates. The Bonds are for £100 each, or such higher amount as may bo arranged with any purchaser, and will be redeemable in the year 1895. Tlie highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
