At Bendigo, Victoria, the quartz miners are out on strike for higher wages. The celebrated Hustlei's Reef amongst others is idle according to late advices. The miners have been using force to prevent fresh hands being employed, and a fracas similar to that which occurred at Oiunes a few months ago is + threatened, if miners are imported by the oUiui holders from "~othe"r goldfields.
