Yottng Weimhoton ia a bright dapple bay, rising thre% years old ; stands sixteen hands high, and is possessed of great bone and fine symmetry. Yoxnsa Wellington is by Sir William Wallace, the celebrated horse that achieved such marked success at the stud on the Taieri Plain. Sir William Wallace was got by Garabaldi, out of Brisk, bred by W. Anderaon, Esq., Barniel, Kirkmiehael, Ayrshire. Garabaldi's sire was bred by Peter Anderson, Esq., Gillespie, Glenluce, Ayrshire, and gained first prize at the Carrick Society's Show as a year old, and first prize four times in succession at tho Ayr County Show, besides a number of first prizes at local shows. Brisk, Sir William Wallace's dap, bred by W. Anderson, Esq., Barniel, Kirkmiehael, Ayrshire, gained first prize at Ayr County ' Show, and nine first prizes at local shows, jg. Sir William Wallace gained first prize afa foal at Mayb«le ; also, as a yearling, gained the first prize at*balryraple, Kirkmiehael, Maybole, Glasgow, and second at Ayr. He gained ' first prfzik as a two-year-old at Ayr County Show andat Glasgow ; also, the second prize at the Highland Society's Show held in Edinburgh, July, 18G9. Sir William Wallace, imported by Mr. Thomas Kettle direct from tho breeder, W. Anderson, Esq., Barneil, Kirkmiehael, Ayr3 shire, was shown at the Taieri Show in December, 1869, when only three days landed, and gained second prizo against horses of all ' ages. Yotrira WETiLrsGTOir's dam is a prize mare belonging to Mr. Cnllen, of the Taieri. She , has gained three first prizes at the Annual show held at the Taieri. Her dam was half sister to Blackleg, said to be the best horse that ever crossed the lino. A sgjendid grass paddock is provided for 7 mares froin^a distance, and all car* taken, but i no responsibility. Ivanhos is a dark bay, standing over 17 hands high, bred by the Duke of Hamilton, and imported direct from Scotland by the New Zealand Land Company. His sire, Sir Walter Scott, gained the first prize at the Highland Agricultural Society's Show at Dumfries in 1860, the first prize in Glasgow in 1861, and at the Royal Agricultural Show, open to all Britain, held at Battersea in 1862, ho also took first honors. His dam, Maggy, g«ained the first prize as a three-year old at the Highland Society's Show in 1862, and at the same show in the same year gained the second prize in the class of all-aged mares, and the first prize as the best bred mare at the same show in 1563. Ivanhoe haa an excellent temper and magnificent action. He has shown himself a sure stock-getter, nearly all the mares served last season having proved in foal. Sib Colin is a rich roan, 17 hands high, and o£ unrivalled bone and action. Sib Colin is by the celebrated Sir Colin Campbell, imported direct to Tasmania. 1 Sir Colin Campbell is by Glenelg, bred by Mr. Tait, Banffshire, the winner of many prizes, and the sire of 140 prize colts and fillies. Grandsire, Lofty, who was never beaten, and took £244 in prizes. ' Dam, a pure Clydesdale mare bred by the Earl of Seafield, out of his favorite mare Betsy, winner of numerous prizes. Sir Colin's dam took first honors at Strath. Bogie, and also at the Duke of Richmond's show, in the latter case with foal at foot, competing again^all mares with or without foals, and was afterwards imported to Tasmania.
