Messes. Capstick, Duthie, and Co. report for tho week ending Saturday, 26th September :—: — We sold at Mr. James- Carmichael's sale, on Thursday, the 24th inst., nine two-year old draught colts and fillies ranging from £20 to £28 each ; six mares and geldings, from £35 to £56 each ; twenty-eight hacks, foalo, and yearling, from £5 to £24 each. Cattle. — We have sold several lots of mixed stores at 325. 6d. to 42b. 6d. each, all under six months thrown in.
Sheep. — Merino ewes, in lamb, full mouthed, 6s. 3d. to 6s. 6d. each ; 4-tooth, Bs. 6d. each ; cross-bred ewes, 4 and 6-tooth, in lamb, 16s. to 16s. 9d. each.
Grrain. — Oats are ranging from Ss. QA. to 4.9. for good full bodied suitable for millers. Wheat and barley — no quotation. Grass seed — white clover, Is. to Is. lid. ; alsike, Is. 2d. ; red clover, Is. to ls^ld. ; cocksfoot, 9d. per lb. j perennial ryegrass seed, 45., 4s. 2d., 4s. 6d. ; Italian ryegrass, 7s. per 201 b. to the bushel ; rapo soed, 3£d. per lb.
