{From our own Correspondent.) Dunbdin September 22. A man known as George was 'found dead in one of Gawn's waggons, at Tokomairiro, this morning. The first cases under the Adulteration of Food Act were heard to-day. In one case, that of a milkman, who was charged with selling adulterated milk, Professor Black's analysis showed that to every 77 parts of the milk there were 23 parts of water. September 23, 9 3 a.m. The Albion with the New Zealaud portion of the Suez mail may be expected at the Bluff to-day or to-morrow. The ketch Glimpse, loaded with railway iron was driven ashore at Moeraki during the heavy gale yesterday afternoon, and is expected to become a total wreck. Wellington , September 22. Robert Strong late Registrar here, died this morning aged 79. Quebnstowit, September 22. Mr. Clark has resigned his seat in the Provincial Council. Mr. Innea and Mr. Manders will come forward, and possibly Mr, Miller, as candidates,
