BEIGHTON V. CORNISH.
(To the Editor.) Sib, — Notwithstanding the statement of "Your Reporter" and "Veritas," I still adhere to my version of the affair ; and I venture to say that if the general opinion of tho inhabitants of Mount Benger district was taken as to which of the three of us was the most likely to lend himself as a " party to a swindle," I should be completely exonerated, and the virtuous "Veritas" aud his Man Friday would probably run neck and neck for the first place. — I am, &c, Thomas Coestsh. Roxburgh, 19th September.
