{To the Editor.) ■ ' Sik, — I understand that the Hospital Committee hare agreed to hold a, public meeting, and only allow those to vote who have" contributed during the year of 1874. I may at once say that I find my subscription dated from the month 1 of Novomher, 1873, and I do not intend to pay my subscription beforetnat date. The scheme I can only regard part of the tactics of those who would allow any discussion to go on so long as it was favorable to their own view, but when it went against them raised the question of subscription. Moreover, for me to pay now would be to require & doubla subscription during the same year, which in the circumstances lam noi prepared to give. — I am, See., J. Mbkzies.
