(From our oion Correspondent. Dunedin, June 30th. At a meeting of the Athenaeum Committee held last night, it was resolved to exclude the " Maryborough and Dunolly Advertiser" and the "Religio-Pniloso-phical Journal." This afternoon his Worship the Mayor presented Mr. Job Wain, captain of the Fire Brigade, with a testimonial and plate on behalf of the insurance companies and the city of Dunedin. Anne Diamond, of the Globe Hotel, Dunedin, was to-day summoned under the Licensing Ordinance for selling drink on Sunday. This was the first case under the new regulations. Fulton of Webb and Fulton is a passenger and brings a number of valuable sheep. The Basby "was oarriad by the current to Kings Island, but saw the^light in time to avoid danger.
