Deitbe, Stbwabt, and Co. report as follows, for the week ending June 24th : — Fat Cattle. — Again there was a full supply of 120 head yarded at the Kaikoria to-day, about half of which were good quality, and realise! 255. per 100 lbs. The balance brought 18s. to 20s. Really good quality are evidently becoming more scarce, and we can reasonably anticipate a further advance in this description from week to week. We sold at the yards, on account of Messrs. Bryce Bros., Thomson, and others, 55 head. Best bullocks realised £8 7s 6d to £10 ; cows, from £5 10s to £6. We have also placed 40 head privately at our quotations. Fat Sheep. — In all about 1300 were penned, of which we sold 350 cross-breds. at from 11s to 13s each ; and 120 merino wethers, at 7s 6d each. Other sales were 250 merino ewes, at 6s 6d ; and 100 half-breds, at 12s 6d. 600 merino wethers were turned out unsold. We have also sold privately, during the week 800 cross-breds for forward delivery ,~&t 15s ; and 700 at quotations. We quote prime crossbreds, 2f dto 3d per lb ; do, merinoes, 2£d to 2id. Fat Calves. — Only about a dozen were penned, which we sold at from 25s to 46s each. Store Cattle. — Very few transactions have taken place during the week in this dlscription of stock. There is, however, a fair demand for quiet bullocks and cows ; from £4 to £5 for the former, and £3 to £3 10s for tho latter. We have only sold about 60 head during the week. Store Sheep. — We have numerous buyers for cross-breds, 4- tooth and upwards, at from lls to 12s; do, 2-tooth, 9s. to 9s 6d ; do, lambs, 7s to 7s 6d ; young merino sheep are also very saleable, at from 8b to 9s each for young ewes in lamb ; aged do, 5s to 6s 6d ; do wethers, 6s 6d to 7s 6d. We have sold 2000 two-tooth cross-breds at 9s 6d, and 500 merino wethera at 6s 6d, and 1000 fullmouthed ewes in lamb at 6s. Wool. — We have no further intelligence from the Tiome market since date of our last, and in our local market there has been no business done. Sheepskins. — At our usual weekly sale today, there was a good attendance of buyers and brisk competition, and full prices were realized for all lots catalogued. Butcher's green skinß fetched from 3s 6d to 3s 9d for crosß-breds, and 2s 6d to 2s 8d for merinoes. Dry station skins, Is to 3s 9d, according to quality. Hides. — A limited number only was forwarded for offer. Competition was brisk, however, and an improvement in prices was noticeable — medium to heavy wet salted hides in good condition, fetching 18s 6d to 21s. Tallow — Also was in batter demand than for some weeks past. We sold a number of casks, inferior to medium quality, at 19s to 26s 6d. Grain. — For wheat there is a more active demand, but prices have not materially altered. Quotations, 4s 3d to 4s 6d for inferior to medium, and 4s 8d to 4s lOd for good to prime. Barley — Prime malting quality is wanted at about 5s 3d ; inferior, however, i* slow of sjile at 4s 6d, medium, 4s 3d to sa. Oats continue in excellent request, with comparatively few offering; ordinary to fine feed are freely saleable at 49 Jd te 4f 3d, milljug jfi 4d per bujh?J,
