Capstick, Dttthie, and Capstiok report for the week ending 6th June :—: — At onr yards, by auction, on Tuesday, -2nd. June, 1874 :— ■ Sheep. — 50 cross-bred ewes (culls), at 6s. 3d. each. Cattle. — 84 dairy cows and heifers were yarded. There were only 3 beifera and 1 cow sold, at L 4 55., L 4 155., L 5, and L 5 10s., respectively. Horses — Black mare, L3O ; chesnut gelding, L.29 10s. ; grey mare L 32 10s. ; grey gelding, Ll6 10s. ; bay mare, Lls 155. ; black filly, unbroken, L 25 10s. ; two fillies rising 3 years old, LlB each. Sold privately, — Three draught fillies, by Marquis, 3 and 4 years old, at L 39 10s. each ; six colts and fillies, unbroken, suitable for light buggy purposes, at Ll3 each. Butter. — 3 ferkins from Warepa, and 3 ferkins from Inch Clutha, at Is, Id. per lb, k«gs ss. each. Grain. — No alteration has taken place 'during the week.
