Sic, — Dummjism ha 3 been the chief topi for some time back. In private conversation through the Press, and it has even beffl mooted in the Provincial Council. '. I H»t several times asked myself the question : Is i a reality or only a name ? However, be tbg as it, may, there is one great stumbling blocl should it be put in" the way, that I don't se how it can be- eradel. Mr. -Editor,, if you a any of your numerous readers would K^tini enough to give mo answer' to the two* fol lowing questions, you would greatly obligi and bo the means of removing a great loa< from my m m 1. The first is: Suppose 1 mnt an application by any party for an agrifitltura lease for the said party, he paying all expense in connection with the application ; objection are lodged on suspicion of dummyism, if I at put upon my oath and swear that my ap plication is bonafide, do I perjure myself The second is : Suppose I make an applicatioi for an agricultural lease in person, paying al expenses therewith, but I am' to sell to a cci tain-party, do I in swearing-that myrApplica tion is bona fide perjure myself ?
