Tuapeka r Weßt, was allowed to stand over, pending the decision of the Waste Lands Board on an application by Ross to purchase another leasehold of his. The application of Thomas Gilmorc for an agricultural lease of section 3, block YIL, Waitahuna West, was adjourned for one week. Tie Otago Gold Mining Co. ("Registered) applied for an extended claim at. the T3lue *** Spur.'' ..Objected to by the- Perseverance Co. Mr. M'Cay appeared &i the applicants ; Mr. Henderson for the objectors. It appeared that in marking out the claim the trenches ■were not marked in compliance with the regulations. The application was therefore refused* Archibald M'Donald applied for leave to divert water for domestic purposes. The Court had no jurisdiction except for mining purposes,- Not granted.
