THE TUAPEKI PLOUGHING MATCH CLUB.
{To-the Editor.) Sib, —l have noticed in recent issues of your journal, local paragraphs to the effect that the Waitahuna and also the Teviot Ploughing Match Clubs purpose holding their annual meetings in the course of a month ot so, but I fail to observe anything respecting our local Club. Is it defunct ? or does it still continue to exist ? I ask this question in order to be supplied with the necessary information, whether it is the intention of the Committee to continue the annual matches. I do not think they ■hould be allowed to fall through. Every means should be adopted to foster good ploughing—especially in this district. An answer to the above will oblige your old and esteemed friend Clodhoppeb. Tuapeka, April 30.
