Smart boys get about 7s to 10s. per week. Nurse girls the same. Day laborers readily get Is. If 3d, and Is Gd.,por hour, thoae who get Js Gd are' on special jobs. I ,do not hear much; of Chinese labour at present, better if we could get alone without it.
