WARDEN'S COURT, LAWRENCE.

(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., Warden.) Wednesday, 25th Maech. Darto?i v. Johnson. — This was a suit to obtain the cancellation of water license No. 869, dated 26th June, 1868. It was apparently of a friendly nature, and brought in pursuance of an arrangement between the parties. No objection was made by the defendant, and his right to his water race was declared forfeited. Abraham Long, Isaac Long, and Elizabeth Long, of Wetherstones, applied for an extended claim of 3 acres. Granted. The following applications for agriculrural leases were adjourned for survey : — James Parsons, for section 22, block 1., Crookston ;" John M'Gahan, for section 13, block VI., Tuapeka East ; Patrick Farrell, for section 12, block VI., Tuapeka East; Lachlan M'Donald, for section 19, block VI., Waitahuna East ; Peter M'lntyre, for section 31, block IV., Waitahuna East ; Robert Smith, for section 30, block IV., Waitahuna East ; Andrew Miller, for sections 16 and 17,. block IV., Waitahuna East ; Edward Stewart, for section 18, block VI., Waitahuna East. The application of Andrew Miller for an agricultural lease of section 3, block X., Hill End, was adjourned for enquiry.
