m weu mm our own. wew c rememDor reading in the" " Australasian " of an instance in Victoria where a reef was prospected for 10 yews without parable results, when on Teaching a lower level the lode was found to be rery rich. Such instances as this should go far to disabuse the minds of the people that because a few weeks profitless work had been spent in a gold mine that it must therefore be a duffej. result of all quartz reefing experience testifies that several of the best mines in the world did not pay until they were worked below the adit level. We therefor* yet expect to see the Gabriels reef Co.'s shares at a premium, despite the cold water thrown on the enterprise of the Company by a few chicken-hearted individuals.
