TUAPEKA DEPASTURING DISTRICT. rpHE following are the Bye-Laws of the above district as adopted by the Tuapeka; Board of Wardens, and duly gazetted. 1. "No sheep shall be depastured within the district, unless a portion of the district be set aside for that purpose. 2. No bull over the age of six months, or entire horse over the age of twelve mouths* shall be depastured within the district without the consent in writing of a majority of the Wardens for that purpose first had and obtained. 3. It shall not be lawful to disturb unnecessarily any stock legally depasturing within the district. 4. It shaft not be lawful to remove cattle above ten (10) in number, nor to drive the same number from or through the district, unless the person or persons so doing shall have given to the Chairman of the Board of Wardens twenty-four hours previous notice of his or their intention bo to do. ; 5. Any person or personß removing cattle from the district shall drive the cattle which he or they shall collect to the nearest stockyard, and there separate his or their cattle from the other cattle, and drive the latter back to the place from whence they were taken. - ■? 6. It shall" be lawful for the Board of Wardens to authorise the mustering of stock illegally depasturing within the district, and the owner or ownera of such stock shall be held liable for the expenses incurred in mustering. 7. It shall be lawful for the Board of Wardens to authorise the impounding of stock illegally depasturing within the district* 8. No pigs or goats shall be allowed to be at large within the district.
