Considerable sales have been made. There have been large sales of Hennessy's brandy in cases, Sugars in good demand^ The gold returns show a falling off. Syj>nby, Februray 21st. The population of Palmer River numbers 2000. Provisions are very scares. The rivers. are flooded, and impassable.
