February 14. Tho New Zealand Steam Company has decided to withdraw the Phoebe from the Sydney and Manukau trade and again place her in the inter-provincial trade.

It is said that the Government have arranged with the above Company for the conveyance to and from Napier of Volunteers for colonial firing.

February 16. The Luna left on Saturday night fora trip around the islands in connection with lighthouse sites. Several officers of the Marine Department are on board, but not Mr. Reynolds.
