The usual weekly meeting of 'this Board was held yesterday . morning. Present-: A. C. Strode, Esq., m the chair, and Messrs. Keid. Butterworth, and Clark. TAPANTJT rBOGBB3S COMMITTED. This body requested that a sale of Crqwn lands, advertised totake place in the Glenkenicb District, on the 10th instant, should be held at Tapanui, instead of at Lawrence. They also asked that the balloting for deferred payment sections should be held at Tapanui instead of at Lawrence, Resolved — Not to grant tile first request, as sufficient "notice had not been given; the'second request -could not be granted, as the law would not -allow it. The Committee also-requested that section 12, 13, and 16, block 7, Glenkenich, -sdould be reserved for coal. The application wss complied with. JSTTBICK.
