THE SUEZ MAIL,
The mail steamer Pera was delayed by head winds and heavy seas. She brings a number of passenger, including the following ; — For Lyttelton : Mr. J. S. Warner and Mr, Braly, For Napier : Mr. W. S. Campbell and Mr, W. Rankin. For Dunedin : Mrs, Pillans, two daughters, and Mr, H, S. Pillans. She brings papers to. the 28th November, The items of of news have been anticipated. Holman Hunt's picture of "The Shadow of Death" has been bought for £10,000, The Vienna Exhibition is a, commercial failure ; the deficit is £336,000,
Bazaine, at his trial, denied having betrayed France, but declined to appeal against the 6entenco,
