CONSOLATION STAKES, of 5 soys., added to a sweepstake of 10s. Weight for age. Distance, 1 mile. HOSPITAL RACE, of soys. Distance, 1 mile ; entrance, 55. ; catch weights. All horses to be the property of bona fide owners for three months previous to the race. All horses within a radius of 25 miles are considered district horses. REGULATIONS. 1. No person shall be allowed to run or enter a horse at these races unle9B he be qualified as a subscriber of uot less than one guinea to the race fund. 2. No entries will be received for any of the above races except upon this condition, viz., that all disputes, claims, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards ; and their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. # 3. General entries to be sent ia to the Secretary at Mr. T. Cornish's Roxburgh Ferry Hotel before 8 p.m. on Saturday, 27th December,*lß73. 4. Jockey costume will be strictly enforced. Any jockey riding in false colors will be disqualified* 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount for expenses. 6. In all races three horses to start, or no race. 7. The Dunstan Jockey Club Rules will be strictly enforced. 8. That no publican's bid be accepted for a booth unless he first become a subscriber of £2 to the race fund*. 2. That no person be entitled to cuter a horse unless he first become a subscriber of £1 to the race funds. 3. Any person entering a horse beyond the specified distance, in any race, will not be entitled to prize money. 4. Any person entering a horse that has won over the specified prize in any race, will not be entitled to prize money. 5. Any protest to be lodged with the Committee "within ten minutes after com- . petition. 6. Any person lodging * protest with the Committee muit deposit the Bum of £1 before the case will be heard by the Committee.
