Mr Archibald Moie, Manse-street, reports the following as the latest quotations :—: — Flour— £l2 10s to £13 per ton. Oatmeal — £23 per ton. Pearl Barley— £3o per ton. Bran — £5 per ton. Pollard— £s pcf ton. Chaff — £4 per ton. Hay — £7 per ton. Potatoes — £2 10s per ton. » Carrots — £4 per ton. Turnips — £2 per ton. "Wheat — ss. to ss. 4d. per bushel. Barley — 4s. 6d. to 7s. per bushel. Oats— 4s. to 4s. Gd. per bushel. Butter— 7d. to Bd. per lb. J Cheese — 9d. per lb. Bacon and liams — 9d. per lb. Messes. J. & A. Macleas report for week evcnding 13th November, as follows : — Fat Cattle*. — The market was fully supplied on Wednesday, 128 head being yarded from ordinary to prime quality ; but on account of tbe large number forwai-ded medium qualities ruled easier, while for prime quality the bidding was spirited, and prices were fully equal to last week's quotations. Our sales consisted of 44 bead, which sold at satisfactory prices. We have also delivered 25 head at quotations. We quote prime beef at 335. to 325. Gd. per lOOlbs ; medium quality, 225. to 255, Fat Sheep. — 400 were penned on Wednesday, which realised, for cross-breds in wool, 17s 6d to 18s 6d ; shorn, 12s. Wo have this week delivered 500 cross-breds at 4Jd per lb. We quote prime half-breds, in wool, at 4d per lb ; merinos, 3£d to 3Jd ; shorn half-breds, 2Jd. Fat Lambs. — 04 were yarded, being the largest number this season, for which there was lively competition, realising full rates, viz., 11s (id to 13s fid each. Stow* Cattle. — Tlie demand continues good for quiet, well-grown steel's and heifers at our last weeks' quotations. At our usual monthly sale, at Lower Waipori, yesterday, notwithstanding the limited attendance, we sold store bullocks at from £5 to £6 ; cows, from £3 to £4 each. Store Sheep. — "We have numerous inquiries for cross-breds and merino wethers for paddocks. Wo have sold, during the week, one very superior lot of 2000 merino wethers, for delivery after shearing ; also a very fine lot of 3000 maiden ewes, at very satisfactory prices, but have no alterations to make in onr Last week's quotations. Grain. — For primo samples of wheat we quote from 5s 3d to 5s (Sd ; medium, 4s Gil to 5s Gd ; inferior, 4s to 4s GJ. For oats the demand during the week has been more at-fcive. We quote good feed from 4s 2d to 4s 3d ; prime milling, 4s 3d to 4s Oil. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Mklboprxe, October 31. A large sale of city property, belonging to Mr. Thomas Brown, formerly of Sydney, has been made. It is fronting Bourke and Queenstreets. It realised £-15,8000. As high as £190 per foot -was obtained. At the wool sales to-day, prices were not up to last week's quotations — Greasy, lOd to 13$ d; fleece, 22£ dto 25£ d. 1000 eases of Devoe's kerosene have been sold at Is 9£d ; Deßoubaix's candles, 11 id ; maize, 3s 11 Id, weak. i Auckland, November 13. i Messrs.
